Become a Volunteer

BWI of STL Gateway is made possible by volunteers, from leadership positions to educators to other volunteers who support our chapter. We serve a large metro area and a lot of members, and are always in need of more help!

If you are passionate about babywearing education and support for all caregivers, we will be happy to help you put your talents to good use in the St. Louis babywearing community. Below is a list of our basic volunteer positions. If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity, please contact us!

Chapter Support Volunteers

CSVs help out at meetings with greeting, sign-ins, carrier returns and checkouts, memberships, and setting up / tearing down. Without CSVs, our meetings can’t run! CSVs can also help at outreach events, volunteer their skills to help the chapter in other ways, and may serve in many of the available leadership roles.

  • Attend a minimum of 10 BWI events per year, including at least one outreach event.
