This handwoven ring sling is made in India. Soul supports artisans and weavers in different parts of India, using fabric made in fair trade weaving co-operatives. You can read more about the Soul Slings company and the weavers they support here.

We found this ring sling to be lightweight but supportive with very little stretch. It was easy to adjust through the rings but grippy enough to stay put, even with my 25lb toddler.

At 83 inches it’s a bit on the longer side which left plenty of tail to wrap around the rings, although it wasn’t too long to simply leave hanging down as well.

With some use this ring sling has softened up nicely and would be great for any age, from newborn to toddler. Ring slings are one of my personal favorites for new babies, and I have found that our ring sling is coming back into steady use with my toddler who doesn’t stay up for long, but I often need to carry her for short periods of time, especially when we’re out and about. A ring sling is great for very quick carries!
